I want to thank you in advance for taking tthe time to
read this important message. As some of you may know, I am currently involved with
Relay for Life which is an incredible nationwide 24-hour event run by
the American Cancer Society (ACS) that raises millions of dollars for
cancer research and prevention. For example, the money raised in the
past has funded 32 Nobel Prize winners and an ACS service
that provides transportation for cancer patients who do not have rides
to their treatments.
I relay to support my friends who are survivors of cancer. But I am not alone. Relay has
brought me to a greater understanding of how truly universal cancer
is. Indifference wasn't a difficult thing for me to overcome. My work
with the American Cancer Society continues to be an undertaking
against apathy toward issues of cancer. This is something about which I care
deeply and hope that you'll support me.
Can you believe that more than 1.3 million new cancer cases are
expected to be diagnosed in the United States this year? Those are
staggering statistics, but there is hope. Each of us can do something
to save lives and help those already fighting this disease. This why
I have decided to take action against cancer by supporting the
American Cancer Society's Relay for Life at Stanford.
If you would please make a donation on my behalf, it would mean the
WORLD to me.
It's incredibly easy and anything you are willing to give (no matter
how small) would be genuinely appreciated.

Please feel free to forward this message to anyone you think would be
interested in helping this cause.
Thank you so much once again.
Sincerely,

Seriously, though. RFL is a great cause that supports cancer research. I've linked you to my official donation site. If you can spare even $1, you will be supporting a really important cause that means a lot to me.
Thank you for reading this. I've made this public, so please feel free to link anyone else to this post that might be interested in helping.
